New York Will Allow Alcohol Sales This Sunday Morning So Buffalo Fans Can Get Hammered At Bars While The Bills Play In London

LETSSSSSSSS GOOOOOOOO BUFFALOOOOOO!!!

Usually I hate any sort of political glad handing with sports involved that is done to potentially garner some votes in a future election. But I don't care about this because it felt wrong knowing my Zubaz'd football cousins north of The Wall wouldn't be able to drink themselves silly like a bunch of blokes at bars as the Bills play. Okay, they would've been doing that no matter what but now they can do it legally, which makes things easier for everyone involved and the entire Greater Buffalo Area can focus on beating Chaps' beloved Jaguars.

Besides, keeping a bunch of Bills fans in their houses during a morning game with as much booze as they want in their fridge is definitely not a good thing for Buffalo win, lose, or draw. Quiet neighborhoods that would usually be full of kids playing in leaves on Sunday morning would become echo chambers for people screaming four-letter words anytime Josh Allen throws a Josh Allen 1.0 crazy pass and every kitchen table would be on the hot seat for getting the Bills Mafia leg drop if something especially awesome happens.

I guess you can make a case that this is a win for small business bars in the area but it's a huge loss for mom and pop furniture stops. Nonetheless, it made me smile and because of this I will be responsibly adding the Bills to my card for Sunday's game (no offense Chaps).

Also if this law is irrelevant enough to squash on the fly for a football game, how about we just wipe it away altogether? I'm sure it will face some opposition since every law in our country has its allies and opponents. But these blue laws were probably put together by a bunch of people dressed like pilgrims who never experienced an NFL Sunday Funday in their life. Let us live the life God wanted us to live by giving us hops, yeast, grain, and water regardless if our NFL team has a London game, a home game, a road game, a bye week, or it's the offseason.
