Lacrosse Handshake Line Turns Into A Wild Fist Exchange With A Guy In Street Clothes Brawling With A Player

You'd be hard pressed to find any sport that gets more chippy than box lacrosse. Most games end up just being 60 straight minutes of aggravated assaults. A crosscheck to the kidney here, a hit from behind there, a fight or 7 throughout the game, it is total chaos.

Now one would hope that all that chaos would come to an end once the game is over. You shake hands, you go to the locker room to crush a six pack, you move on with your life. But sometimes you have a guy on your team who didn't dress for the game. He didn't get a chance to go out there and throw a butt end into someone's nuts behind the play. He didn't get a chance to throw a couple punches after the whistle. He's been DYING to get into a fight all night, and now the handshake line has presented the perfect opportunity.

Those are always the most terrifying people. The guys who you know are going out of their way to look for a fight. They have such a sinister look in their eyes the moment situations start to get a little tense. They've been waiting all night for that moment, and now it's finally here. You can see this dude sniff out that situation from a mile away. The moment he realizes things are getting a little greasy ahead of him, he steps out of the line to get into the mix. Doesn't matter what was done or what was said, he wants in on the action. What a deranged lunatic.

By the way--I'm sure there are some folks out there who think the refs messed up here by letting that fight go on as long as it did. But I'm here to assure you right now that none of those dudes make nearly enough money to step in there and break up that fight. Game is over, time to leave. It's not worth taking a stray hook to the temple trying to stop that fight.

By the way #2--the real MVP's of this video are the fans sitting directly in front of the camera.

Just some big time awareness out of the dude in the glasses. He knows where that camera is located and wants to make sure the boys don't ruin the shot. You don't see that type of awareness anymore with sports fans these days, but this man is a throwback.
