Damian Lillard Dropping A Rap Song Saying 'I Could Never Be Replaced' Right After Being Traded Is A Fucking Hilarious Move That Only He Could Pull Off

Welcome to the new era I guess. There used to be a time where guys would take out a newspaper ad and write a full page thanking everyone. Sometimes now it's a tweet, because who the hell still gets a newspaper? I assume those are the people who say someone like Steph Curry couldn't play in the 70s. But Dame? Dame sends out a brand new rap fresh with a line that has everyone thinking he's taking shots at the Blazers for drafting Scoot Henderson.

'They the ones who chose another mission.'

Hmm, that seems pretty direct! Honestly, I don't want to hear this shit as a Blazers fan. Sure, you love Dame and a good majority of them always will. But he just forced himself out of your team. Fuck that. I don't care if you're the best player the team has had in decades, if you gave it your all, etc. As a fan, you gotta be pissed off. You want that guy to be around forever. I don't even care if the Blazers are intriguing if they keep Jrue and Ayton. Dame was the Blazers for the longest time.

Part of being  fan is being pissed off. You hate your ownership for not getting the right guys around Dame. You're pissed at Dame for leaving. The last thing you want is a rap being dropped right after the trade. Gotta know how long Dame was sitting on that one. Luckily for him - as pointed out by many - he at least gets to rhyme with Bucks now. That should be easy to do. I'll have to check with Rone.

Here's what I want to know. What the fuck were the Blazers supposed to do? I know, I know. Get better players around Dame. But Dame trade rumors have been around for damn near every year. They need to find someone to try replace him and Scoot was sitting right there. I don't blame them for taking Scoot. Love the move to drop a rap song right after the trade though.
