Mike Napoli Has Assembled A Fantasy Juggernaut

In The Show Fantasy League with a Dave Portnoy and his Big League buddies, Mike Napoli is running away with things. He's the lone undefeated team after taking down points leader, Eric Hosmer in a heavyweight matchup.

Even with his 1st round pick (Austin Ekeler) on the injured list, Nap still found a way to get it done. His backfield was set to doom him after getting a combined 4.9 points from them, but Kirk Cousins, Davante Adams, and the Bills D/ST put on their capes and gave Nap what he needed for the W. Hosmer got a season high in points for the league with Keenan Allen's insane game in Minnesota, but still fell short despite a gusty, but necessary move to bench Garrett Wilson.

In 2nd place, we've got Mike Trout who could very easily be unbeaten is knocking on Napoli's doorstep.

His Receivers all showed out and he now faces the fortunate decision on if Adam Thielen, who is playing out of his mind right now gets to start. Not even DJ Moore's awful start has spoiled Trout's team who looks primed for a big run. Meanwhile, Shane Bieber and Austin Hedges are in trouble as they fall to 11th place. The only good news was that the Lamar Jackson/Zay Flowers stack appears to be working. That being said, losing both their starting RBs (JK Dobbins and Nick Chubb) in the first three weeks leaves them a big uphill battle the rest of the way.

The new guys JT Realmuto and Kyle Schwarber don't care that their 1st rounder, Cooper Kupp is hurt. Tey are still dominating!

This team is built to last with some explosive weapons. AJ Brown finally got back on the same page with Jalen Hurts and Kenneth Walker III seems to have put the timeshare questions to bed. Amari Cooper is performing exactly how I told you he would and Miles Sanders is exceeding expectations. Meanwhile, Manny Machado has the most explosive guy in the league, Tyreek Hill, but is being held back by Justin Fields. Will he let Russ cook in Week 2?

Dave Portnoy made great trade this past week acquiring both Josh Allen and Travis Kelce. And while it cost him his depth at RB, Raheem Mostert softened the blow with his 4 TD performance.

Dave gets his first win and all of a sudden is a wagon. His bench leaves much to be desired and the Mike Williams injury leaves him thin at WR, but he's got horses. Meanwhile, Alex Bregman and Brian McCann are still not getting enough production from their skill positions after going QB in Round 2. They'll need Jonathan Taylor to come back quick and some more superhero performances from Patrick Mahomes to stay afloat.

Dave's trade partner, Wil Myers was in last place but picked up a win with his new QB1, Brock Purdy outscoring Josh Allen. His newfound RB depth wasn't spectacular, but still a big improvement as they took down the previous clubhouse leader, the trio of Joc Pederson, Austin Barnes, and Alex Wood.

Myers team is a lot more well rounded, but he'll need to make the right coaching moves as leaving 17.1 points on the bench with Hollywood Brown isn't a long term play. Meanwhile, after spending their entire FAAB budget on Jerome Ford, his day was saved by 2 TDs, but he's got a tough schedule coming up and they'll need to get at least a few starters in the 20 point range per week to be able to last as a playoff team.

Jake Marisnick and Andrew Benintendi picked up a big win over Mike Moustakas who decision to go Tee Higgins over Tank Dell cost them the match.

Moose is dealing with injuries left and right with Saquon Barkley, Diontae Johnson, and Jeff Wilson Jr. all out. Meanwhile his QB1, Joe Burrow has had a rough start to the year with his injured calf. Marisnick and Benintendi sat De'Von Achane but still got the W thanks to the Justins (Herbert and Jefferson) having huge games in Minnesota.

And while Nap is in first place, this is really anybody's league! Here's where we stand through three weeks:
