Bryce Mitchell Brought A Bible Into The Octagon Tonight Because He Says Satan Is Taking Over The Earth

Bryce "Thugnasty" Mitchell has had himself one hell of a month.

Just last week, a vengeful ex-girlfriend cut down all of his fruit trees in Arkansas while he was in Vegas....

....and he then went viral a few days ago for some ~interesting~ recent comments on Michael Bisping and Anthony Smith's podcast....

….but now here he is, turning it all around and picking up a big UFC win over Dan Ige in tonight's co-main event!

He wasn't alone in that octagon, either - Bryce brought Jesus in there with him tonight!

After winning a clear grappling-heavy decision (and picking up a nasty shiner in the process), Bryce Mitchell asked Dan Ige to stick around for his post-fight interview, and Ige said something along the lines of "No thanks, this is your moment bro." - but Mitchell insisted he stay to pray.

Ige was clearly pretty uncomfortable but stayed anyway, and then Bryce quickly revealed that he planned on donating $5,000 towards wildfire relief in Hawaii - which was really nice! I thought, "Alright, THAT'S why he wanted Ige to stick around. Good on him."

Mitchell then said that Satan is taking over the Earth and that he doesn't believe the fires in Hawaii were natural - he thinks they were man-made to get the locals off the islands. He then demanded Ige pray for America, and Ige looked more uncomfortable than Marty McFly while his mom was trying to hook up with him.

Bisping had no idea what to do either, and just took the mic away at this point, which seemed to piss Bryce off a little. It had "getting played off-stage at The Oscars" vibes.

Bryce had Ige get down on his knees and pray with him at this point, and the UFC couldn't have cut away faster.

Oh, and just to be clear, I'm not anti-sayin a prayer at all, but I'm anti-being a weirdo in public and MY GOD that was weird. All of it.

Great win tho!

Tonight's main event wound up being a bit of a bust after one great round, as Rafael Fiziev fucked his knee up early on in the second….

Brutal. Crazy how many times something like that or another freak injury have happened in main events this year.
