Big Cat's Donut Tradition Is Now A Full Blown Safety Risk

UPI News -  A Krispy Kreme delivery driver in Alaska captured a photo when he caught an unusual pair of thieves -- a mother bear and her cub -- raiding doughnuts from the back of his van.

Shelly Deano, manager of the Krispy Kreme Express store on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, said the driver was delivering doughnuts to the store when the bears entered through the open back door of the delivery vehicle.

The driver snapped a photo that was shared on Facebook by Krispy Kreme Alaska.

"You could hear them breaking open the packages," Deano told KTUU-TV. "We were trying to beat on the van but they just kept eating all the doughnuts. They ate 20 packages of the doughnut holes and I believe six packages of the three-pack chocolate doughnuts."

Deano said base security personnel were able to drive the bears away by blasting loud sirens.

Dan "Big Cat" Katz has a great ability to be a trend setter. Whether it be betting overs, drinking coffee, or sneaker style. Some people in the office even go so far as to copy him down to his exact shoes and car he drives. No names …but:

Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery. Some would say it's a way to pay homage to Big Cat and his style, or traits etc. However, there has to be some sort of line with what Big Cat inspires or more so who he inspires. If normal stoolies or co workers are inspired to go get weekend donuts that's one thing.

That's all well and good. But things have clearly gone too far as he's now inspiring ANIMALS… specifically dangerous animals to crave donuts? He's putting lives at risk now. How far is too far? What's next a bull breaks into an Amazon factory to get a Rhoback sweatshirt from an outgoing package? A shark swims up on the beach to steal a snapback hat? I am all for Big Cat inspiring people but this has clearly gone too far. Maybe the donut tradition takes a break for a week until we can assure that deadly animals aren't trying to be like him.
