It's Time For NFL Teams To Put Designated Fight Clubs In Their Stadiums

Week after week during the NFL season you can expect to see at least 4-5 fan brawls across the league. I don't know if it's because we live in the age of social media where literally everything is filmed and put online, but it seems like the amount of fan fights in stadiums has only been increasing throughout the years. You'd hope you could have full grown adults pay good money to show up to these games and just act like normal human beings. But clearly the data suggests otherwise. The world is filled with dumbasses who have no idea how to behave themselves, and NFL fanbases are some of the main culprits.

With that being the case, it's just not realistic for NFL teams to expect their fans not to get into massive brawls during every game. That's an unattainable goal, so it's time to shift what the goal should actually be. Instead of hoping that fans just stop trying to beat the shit out of each other every week, perhaps you could just find a way for them to beat the shit out of each other without bringing random and innocent bystanders into the mix. The solution?

Designated fighting areas in each stadium.

Seems pretty simple. If you have "beef" with someone, you don't need to cause chaos in the concourse. You don't need to start a melee around a bunch of kids who are getting their parents to buy them an $18 order of 3 chicken fingers. You don't need to start launching haymakers around the guy who already had 15 Jell-O shots in the parking lot before the game started and now thinks he can just magically break up a fight without immediately making the situation a million times worse. That's seemingly always the worst part about all these fight videos--it's the guys who go in to try to break up the fight who end up creating the most chaos. Because the moment they jump in to try to break it up, someone else has to come in to even the numbers, and then another, and then another. It's ass backwards, but that's why these fights need to happen in an area where you don't need anyone to go in to break it up.

You have a designated fighting area in each stadium, you each have to sign a waiver before heading in there that says whatever happens, happens. And if somehow you're such a creature of a human being that you still want to fight even after walking to this designated area and signing that waiver? Well then have at it.

Sidenote: It's the Texans, man. Just chill out. Nobody gives a shit about the Texans.
