Egomaniac Ref Wants Geno Smith To Get Away From Him Because He's Too Busy 'Talking To America Here'

Look at this guy. I have a very one-sided rivalry with refs. I hate them. I think it's bullshit they can blow at their jobs and face no accountability, don't have to do press conferences and just keep on going. But on the other hand I respect being this much of an egomaniac. Trying to explain to the quarterback why you called intentional grounding on a play where it was miscommunication between him and a receiver? Absolutely not. America is waiting for this ref to explain everything - by that I mean, call the penalty. Telling Geno Smith he's talking to America is so insane, I'm almost forced to respect it. 

What a run for both these teams though. Typically this would be who the hell is watching Seahawks/Lions, but this game has been arguably the best of the early slate. Gotta make sure they know the penalty call, can't be guessing here. Egomaniac for sure, but impossible not to respect the move.
