Well Known 3 Point Specialist Rajon Rondo Is Helping Ben Simmons With His 3 Point Shot

I am a Ben Simmons believer and I think the 76ers really fucked him up. I think he gets a bad rap and of course he doesn't help himself a ton, so I also get the hate. 

But this is nuts.

If I was Ben I would have maybe went with Ray Allen or literally anybody else in the world because not only is Rondo a shitty 3 point shooter, but nobody even covered him from beyond the arc in his career. Rondo is a great player to learn how to dish the ball and finish at the rim or chase triple doubles from, but shooting the three is maybe his worst teaching ability, like me teaching someone how to read.

More about Simmons though, I think we all give up on players too soon, too much. Yes Ben Simmons is a very easy person to make fun of but he still has that number one pick overall talent. If I'm his coach we start with the basics, figuring out if he's a left or a righty, that would be a good place to start. 

But how funny would it be if Ben Simmons came out this season and was a sharp shooter and shut everyone up. I want to be his one fan. I was a year early on him because Durant and Kryie were too much for that team and now it's a young team where he can actually help. But as his new number one fan, let's just be a little smarter on who we are learning to shoot threes from.
