To No One's Surprise Texas Reign Supreme In The Top 50 Southern BBQ Joints

MYSA- Texas smoked meats reigned king on The South's Top 50 Barbecue Joints Of 2023, which released by Southern Living on Tuesday, September 12. The Lone Star State claimed 15 spots on the list with some familiar faces, including the top spot which crowns a Central Texas joint that has earned a slate of accolades over the year. The No. 1 spot goes to Snow BBQ, which has been spotlighted on Netflix's Chef's Table: BBQ and named numerous times to Texas Month's top barbecue list over the years. Octogenarian former pitmaster Tootsie Tomanetz is an international legend in the barbecue world and her passion for her craft continues to earn the restaurant in Lexington, located about 50 miles east of Austin in Central Texas, tons of praise.A-

First off...is this topic blog-worthy? I have no fucking idea, but last time I checked we have people blogging about Aliens, Only Fans (couldn't be me), celebrity gossip and much, much more so if I wanna quickly talk about some goddamn good barbecue I'm gonna quickly talk about some goddamn good barbecue. If you couldn't tell by my slender figure I tend to REALLY enjoy the art of barbecue due to many things about it. The time it takes to get it perfect, the smoky tastes on some of the best meats, and even the delectable sides make for it to be my favorite cuisine whenever I'm lucky enough to be in the South.

And, shockingly enough here, it turns out the winner of the 'cue in the South just so happens to be in Texas which is obviously the King of BBQ even though coincidentally enough this went to the Queen of BBQ in Tootsie Tomanetz. You've easily seen her on Netflix's Chef's Table and she's a fucking LEGEND. Simply a Texas queen in her 80's still grinding like she's Michelin star chef fresh out of culinary school. She's a truly a legend so i would've been very remised if I didn't write up a quick thing about it shouting out her and Snow BBQ.

Moral of the story: I gotta get my ass to Lexington, Texas.
