Someone Is In Trouble - Shakira’s New Merch Is Almost An Exact Copy Of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Merch

I’m so deep on Swiftie Twitter that I’ve crossed over into a realm of true, serious freaks. They’re usually even too intense for me but they also have a lot of hilarious inside jokes where Taylor is concerned, so I’m happy to be on it. Every once in a while they make up lies and outrageous claims for clicks, so when I saw this mock up of a Shakira sweatshirt, I figured they were starting shit.  

I love Shakira, so I didn’t want to believe this. I checked the website myself, lo and behold: 

That’s FUCKING NUTS LOLOLOL. Her "iconic looks" ??? I mean, I understand that there are only so many big merch designers that the celebrities use, but come on. Did Shakira and Taylor both use Sparky Polastri for their designs? The same fraud peddling the same Tshirts up and down the coast of pop stars? Who’s next, Ariana Grande? 

The most shocking thing is that nobody in the Shakira camp thought “hm, this looks familiar.” I understand they sort of run in different circles, but I’d say they are equally famous. You’ve got to have somebody on staff who looks out for this kind of thing. And if they do, but it was just missed? PRAY for whoever fucked this up, and continues to ignore how viral it’s all going. I don’t blame Shakira, but I DO blame her team. Come up with your own stuff!!!!
