Another Djokovic masterclass of a performance in the finals of a Grand Slam. Novak was MASTERFUL at the net today which he needed to not give Medvedev a fighting chance at beating him. This one probably tastes a little extra sweet as he gets his revenge from 2 years ago when Med stopped him from winning the calendar slam. Med got a break back in the third set and immediately gave it up again. Just completely overclassed by the greatest to ever do it. Basically coasted to the title besides going down 2-0 to fellow Serbian Laslo Djere before showing exactly why he's never out of a match. I know this was in the last round, but no chance Djokovic was losing after hanging up the phone on Shelton. He couldn't be denied.
