NHL Team: New Jersey Devils

Conference: Eastern

Division: Metropolitan

2022-23 Recap: Pasha was right!! This team came out of the gates flying and put to rest the idea that the future was bright because the future was now. 112 points and knocking out the Cross-River Rivals from NY made the season a real success. Jack Hughes established himself as a superstar and now NJ has become a destination players want to go to.

This 8:27 clip is an all-time of bad takes about the Devils before last season.

Biggest Loss: Damon Severson - Pasha was not happy to see Steady Eddie D-man leave but it was necessary for cap space and to open up ice time for Luke Hughes.

Biggest Addition: Luke HughesWe saw a glimpse of this top prospect at the end of the season and in playoffs, he is a future #1 D-man on any team anywhere. The more ice time this kid sees will only show the talent he has and the sky could be the limit if he gets that PP time.

2023-24 Outlook: This team went from the "future is bright" to they can win it all now. This season will be a great prove-it year with the Devils to put to rest anyone saying last year was a fluke and other teams did not take them seriously.  This team can score in bunches and if they get steady goaltending this team will put on a show and be at the top of the standings all season.

Player To Watch: Simon Nemec - The “other D-man prospect” is the #2 pick in the 2022 Draft, and he could break into the lineup this year and be another game-changer.

2023-2024 Season Bet: Reach the Eastern Conference Finals - Biz gets tattoo, Over 106.5 team points -115
