Dennis Rodman Smashing Skulls With A Guitar And Scissoring Is Why You Should Still Be Watching Wrestling
Quick update on Dennis Rodman, he's back. He was back in Chicago and back in the ring. Take a quick moment to listen to him talk about Chicago:
Awesome. Even though I fucking hated those Bulls teams because they ripped my heart out all the time, you still think of Rodman, Jordan, Pippen, Kukoc, Longley, etc. Anyone in our late 30s and a basketball fan just knows those teams. They were as important to our childhood as an away message. But this isn't a basketball blog. It's an AEW blog. Rodman came out on Saturday and was invited to join Jeff Jarrett's side. He promptly delivered a choke slam and announced he'd be in the corner of the Acclaimed the next night against them.
And then it happen. Why you watch wrestling. You may remember the Rodman vs Malone tag team match. But that didn't have a guitar:
Perfect strike. Something about Rodman vs former basketball players in the ring I guess. But it didn't stop there. He got scissored. Yes, you heard me right. Dennis Rodman got scissored.
Wrestling right now is as good as it's been. Yeah Punk got booted from AEW, but who cares honestly? His storylines were whatever to me. Give me everything else with FTR, Young Bucks, MJF/Cole, etc. That's just AEW too. I know people will shit on wrestling, but it's just a show for dudes. Who cares how old you are? I wanna watch Dennis Rodman smash skulls with a guitar and you can only get that in the ring.
He even got a shot in at Shaq:
