Here Are All Of The Best Movies And Shows Coming To Hulu This Month. 'Seven', 'Mad Max'

 1. Seven - 92/100

Two homicide detectives are on a desperate hunt for a serial killer whose crimes are based on the "seven deadly sins" in this dark and haunting film that takes viewers from the tortured remains of one victim to the next. The seasoned Det. Sommerset researches each sin in an effort to get inside the killer's mind, while his novice partner, Mills, scoffs at his efforts to unravel the case.

If you read my blog earlier this week about 'The Killer' then you know how I feel about David Fincher thrillers. Seven is one of the best. Just brilliant acting and perfect tension building throughout the whole runtime.

2. Mad Max Fury Road - 99/100

An apocalyptic story set in the furthest reaches of our planet, in a stark desert landscape where humanity is broken, and most everyone is crazed fighting for the necessities of life. Within this world exist two rebels on the run who just might be able to restore order.

One of the best action movies of the 21st century needs no introduction. I love rewatching because it is just so refreshing seeing a blockbuster that uses as much practical as possible and doesn't default to being a CGI disaster. WITNESS MEEEEEEE

3. The Menu - 84/100

A young couple travels to a remote island to eat at an exclusive restaurant where the chef has prepared a lavish menu, with some shocking surprises.

The bubble on "eat the rich" movies is on the verge of popping, and this might be the last movie to make it before that happens. Obviously an all star cast but also some good humor and beautiful cinematography. It's definitely worth a watch. Also, this is the second Hoult movie in a row.

4. The Banshees of Inisherin - 94/100

Two lifelong friends find themselves at an impasse when one abruptly ends their relationship, with alarming consequences for both of them.

One of the other movies that is a scrap from HBO, I loved this movie. It's almost like two totally different movies between the first and second half. A comedy at the start and a drama by the end. It's not for everyone, but I think a lot of you would enjoy it.

5. A Knight's Tale  - 81/100

William Thatcher, a peasant, is sent to apprentice with a Knight named Hector as a young boy. Urged by his father to "change his Stars", he assumes Sir Hector's place in a tournament when Hector dies in the middle of it. He wins. With the other apprentices, he trains and assumes the title of Sir Ulrich von Lichtenstein.

I've always found this movie to be so under-appreciated. Easy to watch, funny, heartwarming and really well acted. Just an easy and fun watch for whatever mood you might be.
