Andy Reid Once Used A Play From A Janitor And Scored A Touchdown With It

This is obviously incredibly cool for that janitor and great that Andy Reid would listen to somebody like that if he proves he has a good idea. Awesome story.

But imagine being the defensive coordinator that allowed a touchdown drawn up by the Packers' janitor. I'm going to take a wild guess that whoever was running the defense that gave up this touchdown was probably having some struggles that season, and if I was the head coach and found out my DC allowed this to happen, that would have been the final straw. You gotta go if you let the other team score on the janitor's play.

For that janitor, though, I don't know that there's a cooler thing in the world — that doesn't involve any money — than having a play you drew up used in an NFL game to score a touchdown. Nobody could tell you shit for the rest of your life. You have the best story of anyone you'll ever meet.

Some fans have great ideas if coaches would just listen. Now I just need Josh Heupel to return my calls about incorporating some Gun Triple Option into Tennessee's playbook.
