Ohio Invited The Top High School Football Teams In The Country To Come Play This Weekend And Proceeded To Kick The Shit Out Of Every Single One Of Them
Okay first of all if you're not into High School Football then 1.) get a life and 2.) don't click on this blog. But if you are into high school football, then I have something to say to you: GET ON OHIO'S LEVEL. We hosted a Northeast Ohio vs. America challenge this weekend for Week 1, bringing in defending State Champions, winningest programs in the country, D1 commits, etc etc etc. And we wiped the fucking floor with them:
For you dummies down in Georgia and Texas that came to chirp, I'll do the Math for you since I know you can't. That's an aggregate (total score) of 136 to 46. And this is just a few teams from Northeast Ohio! Don't make my call the boys down in Pickerington. And if anyone wants to go toe to toe in a small public school challenge, we'll fuck your face off in that too. That's a guarantee. I'd bet my life on it.
The fact of the matter is that pound for pound, Ohio has the best high school football in the country. I won't hear otherwise. Yes, I know there's charter schools and college prep schools like IMG that bring in players from all over the country, but I'm talking about born and raised ball. And the fact that we don't even have Spring Ball up here is all the more impressive. Like, these coaches couldn't really start until August 1st, and we wiped the floor with Valdosta from Georgia, who's been practicing 24/7/365.
Seriously though, how is it possible that when you think of the top states for football talent, you think of Florida, Georgia, Texas, California, and Ohio. One of those doesn't belong, but they just showed this weekend that the rest of them actually don't belong. Ohio kids are just built different. Gritty. Hard working. Tough nosed. Man I love this state.
