A ‘Stranger Things’ Fan Left Her Husband For Dacre Montgomery That She Gave TEN GRAND To

To sum up this video, this woman, McKayla, is an artist that was posting a bunch of her work on a forum. A guy contacted her on the forum, commenting on her stuff and eventually “revealing” that he was Dacre Montgomery, star of ‘Stranger Things’. After some time, he said he said he wanted McKayla to be his girlfriend and that he was actually broken up with his “toxic” current girl (famous model Liv Polluck). So McKayla left her husband (father of her kid) to be with “Dacre”.

She ended up sending him around $10k worth of gift cards because he said Liv had control of his money and wouldn’t give him any. Yea…. Anyway, she ends up contacting this catfish show and they find out that, surprise surprise, it’s a catfish. 

On the one hand, it sad. Like some of you schlubs reading this, she was stuck in a dying relationship  and let loneliness desperation override her brain. 

On the other hand, how fucking DUMB do you have to be to fall for this type of scam? You can understand if an old person falls for it because they are just technologically ignorant. But this lady is young! Young enough to know that 

#1. Famous dudes cruise for chicks exclusively through Instagram (a verifiable source).

#2. No famous person dating a model is looking to go to slam town with someone they met on an ART FORUM.

All that stuff aside, the money is where it crosses from being something sad that you can sympathize with to being stupid that you cannot. This is like, the first rule of the internet. DONT GIVE OUT MONEY AND DEFINITELY DON’T GUVR IT AWAY IN A GOD DAMN GIFT CARD. That is room temp IQ behavior. Here’s lookin at you, Krick.
