Giants Play-By-Play Guy Dave Flemming Lost His Fantasy Football League So He Had To Be The Bat Boy For San Francisco Last Night, Which Is A Fantastic Punishment

I'm tired of the same old fantasy football punishments every year. "Loser has to take the SATs", "Loser has to do karaoke", "Loser has to do 2 minutes of stand up", the damn 24 hours in a Waffle House punishment. Cool! It's always the same recycled punishments that aren't even funny. 

The Giants announcers came up with a different punishment that is actually pretty good. Loser has to be bat boy for a Giants game for the first 3 innings. Poor Dave Flemming, the SF play-by-play guy who had to take that punishment last night vs the Rays and he killed it. 

He was in full uniform collecting bats from the box, running those rubbed balls out to the home plate umpire, making sure the on-deck circle is all nice and tidy, this isn't a bad punishment at all! I love it. I'd love to do this for our league so I'll get the Orioles or Bay Sox on line 1. 

John Angelos wishes he could make Kevin Brown be the full time bat boy, but Dave is out here serving his punishment like a champ, even if he looks a little stiff and slow out there. And like he said, I'm sure he's sore today from all the activity, he for sure isn't used to going up and down those stairs and running out to the ump. 

Bat boys don't get the credit and re2pect they deserve, these guys keep the games going. Only doing it for 3 innings is perfect too. Get involved enough but you aren't out there the whole time. A+ punishment by this league, love how they got creative. No one gives a shit about watching your buddy eat waffles, let him pick up bats for an hour, that is a good one.
