Kyle Shanahan Is Allegedly Calling Bad Plays For Trey Lance So He Cant Be In The Conversation For QB1

Who's to say if this Grant fella is or isn't on to something, but I could see this being a thing. It's very possible Shanahan saw enough from Purdy last year and said we don't need to have Lance hop in the driver's seat to steal all the fans with some good pre-season numbers. 

I don't think this is completely a sabotage because it really is just in Trey Lance's hands. 49ers fans want to see him be the guy for their team just because they drafted him so high, but that man hasn't played football in 3 years. This is a guy who played one full season in college and then sat behind Jimmy G right away in the NFL. Then the injuries derailed everything. I feel like this would be a little crazy because I don't know if Shanahan forgot, but he is the person who starts and sits people so he doesn't have to completely go crazy with his play calling.

Shanahan can be sabotaging him and still be a better play caller than half the people in the NFL. The funniest thing is that people are so mad about this but he went 10/15, 115 yards and a touchdown. How about Shanahan is trying to make him be more comfortable in the pocket and wants him to be able to air it out more. He would be a moron to do this and I just think fans are fucking nuts.
