Lizzo's Dancers Are Suing Her for Fat-Shaming Them (Among Many Other Things)

Long story short, 3 backup dancers just accused Lizzo of sexual harassment and body shaming in a new 44-page lawsuit. 

The plaintiffs’ attorney said the dancer's experiences “seem to go against everything Lizzo stands for publicly”.

One dancer said after she gained weight Lizzo and their choreographer repeatedly questioned whether she was "struggling with something as she seemed less committed to her role on the dance cast". And according to the docs, in professional dance, a dancer's weight gain is often seen as that dancer getting lazy or getting worse as a performer. So saying this in the professional dance world is widely known as a thinly veiled concern about weight gain. That dancer was fired shortly after.
