Amari Cooper Is Going To Have A Monster Year In Cleveland

Amari Cooper is going into his second season with the Browns and I think he's going to have a big year. Looking at all the off-season props in the Barstool Sportsbook, this one stood out to me. Amari Cooper's line was 925.5 yards. I did a bunch of research and this is why I like the play:

• He’s coming off a 132 target, 78 catch,  1,160 yard campaign with Jacoby Brissett and Deshaun Watson’s partially suspended season, so this line feels a bit low.
• Watson will now have a full off-season to train with the team and build a chemistry with Cooper
• Digging into Watson’s numbers last season, he averaged a career low 6.5 yards per attempt. With Houston, Watson was a big deep ball guy that would push the ball down the field averaging 8.6 yards per attempt including a league leading 8.9 in 2020.
• Looking at previous Browns QBs under Head Coach Kevin Stefanski, both were much higher than Watson last year: Jacoby Brissett (7.1 YPA) and Baker Mayfield (7.7 YPA)
• Cooper also is an underrated deep threat and is coming off a season in which he finished with a career best 13.3 averaged depth of target and averaged 14.9 yards per reception, the 2nd best of his career.
• In Cooper’s six games with Watson, he had a catch of 20 yards or more in his last five
• He also got a whopping 33.4% of Watson’s passing yards in that time
• Deshaun Watson’s yardage line is 3,600 yards with a lot more juice on the over. If Cooper’s yardage percentage holds that’ll equate to 1,200 yards which tells me this line is low.
• The Browns also go from the 4th hardest schedule against the pass to the 15th hardest per Sharp Football
• I’m expecting better accuracy from Watson and more deep balls for his top target, Cooper.

Cooper's second season with a team has also been his best as he's averaging 1,171 in his second season with his two former teams (Raiders and Cowboys). He looks good in camp so far too.
