I Was Undeservedly Slandered On The Mid Show With Big Cat This Week

First and foremost...at no point, at NO POINT, have I ever worn romper. This outfit is simply a searsucker button down summer shirt and some black shorts from j.crew. 

Now that RomperGate has been addressed I want to move on to my Cubs take. 

I said I don't want to sell at the deadline. I'd rather them make a strong push to sign both Bellinger and Stroman and make a push for the playoffs so we can be actually building something instead of being perpetually stuck waiting for prospects. I also want to have fun in August and September. Sue me. Last night was INCREDIBLE. 

Games like that are why we watch sports in the first place. I want the city to have a buzz. I want us to be competing. I want to have fun. I want more nights like last night down the stretch. Eddie minimizing that to say I just want to have a good time a Big Star (3rd degree slander on multiple levels) is gross. I've loved watching this team all year. They're a very likable team for the first time in a long time. I am not ready for that to end. 

Now, if the wheels fall over the next two days and there's no hope of signing the big guys then I guess keep the phone lines open, BUT…how can anyone want to blow this up if they win 2 of the next 3 (@STL, @STL, Cincy). You split the weekend and beat the Reds on Monday night you will be right in the thick of the race. Go out there and try to win the Division. If that is wrong then I don't want to be right.
