THE FOLLOWING REVIEW IS SPOILER FREE

Per usual, there are a few more things I want to add.

-I've had people ask me where this ranks among Christopher Nolan's movies. Honestly, ranking his films is hard once you get past The Dark Knight Trilogy (which I have as #1 for personal reasons). I would say it's comfortable in his second tier with "Inception," "Interstellar," and "Dunkirk." But his films are interchangeable regarding greatness. If and when he inevitably retires, "Oppenheimer" will be remembered as one of his more iconic films. He should've won an Oscar by now. It wouldn't surprise me if this is the film that finally gets him his long-overdue Academy Award.

-The fact that there is not a single CG shot in this movie is mindblowing. Some movies are shot on iPhones and still have a few computer-generated shots. I would've accepted a few CG shots if it meant he fixed the sound mixing, but whatever.

-I love this movie. I recommend everyone support it and see it in theatres, but something prevents me from declaring it one of the decade's best films. It could be the sound mixing, but I also feel like Nolan's finest films pack more of an emotional punch this one might not pack. The film is intentionally cold in many ways. I could see myself enjoying it more upon rewatch (with subtitles).
