Checkmate: Russell Wilson Responds To Future's "I Got It Out The Field, Fuck Russell" Lyric By Posting A Picture Of Him And Ciara's Kid On The Field

What a clapback by Russell Wilson. It's hard for Russ to find W's on the football field (sorry) these days, but this is as big of one as you can get. For some background, Future dropped a lyric last week coming at Russell where he said "I got it out the field, fuck Russell":

Russ responded by posting a picture of Future and Ciara's kid (who he now raises) on the football field. Truly some uncharted territory of disrespect but fair play to Russ who is just being a good father while Future continues to be salty nearly a decade later. Clean knockout. Reminds me of that meme of the guy who had that shirt that says "I'm not the step father, I'm the father that stepped up". I rock with Future and his music, but you automatically lose against a man who spends more time with your kid than you do, especially when his name is FUTURE Jr. True "Hate or love me, you watched" stuff there by Russ.

I'd pay to be a fly on the wall for when Future sees this photo. I'd be sick. Only better way to bury him would have been a caption like "I'm in the field with Future". That's just my social media manager brain talking. Saying "Dad life" to an absent father is a clear second though. This is my type of petty and maybe this will be the final blow that lets Future finally stop talking about Russ and Ciara. Just focus on giving us some good music.
