Football Guy: Chiefs Rookie Rashee Rice Threw Up During The First Day Of Practice, Claims He Likes It Because It Proves He's Working Hard
[Source] - “I told them, ‘to be honest with y’all, I don’t mind puking,’” Rice said, via ArrowheadPride.com. “That just means I’m working as hard as I can so that I won’t puke anymore — and will be ready for the games.”
Ahh, the most beautiful time of the year. The time where we all start coming up with dream scenarios of our rookies. We see them reporting to camp. We get reports of guys making incredible catches or big time plays, what have you. But this? This is the real stories of training camp. Let me know the guy who is out here puking and likes it because it means he's working hard.
That's the sort of guy I want on my team. That's the guy I want lining up on a key 3rd down. You gotta be a special kind of crazy to enjoy throwing up just to prove you're working hard. There's nothing worse than throwing up in general (or watching someone else throw up), let alone when you have to keep running around. If you've ever blew chunks during a practice you know exactly what I'm talking about. You just have that dry throat, it's on your mind no matter what.
But if I'm a Chiefs fan? I love Rashee Rice. You want an early pick like him to be willing to do anything to keep Mahomes happy. Throwing up during day 1 of training camp? Not a problem. Dude is going to throw up every day if he has to just to remind him not to throw up.
