Phillies Color Commentating Blockhead Ben Davis Thinks Juan Soto Is 'Like James Harden And Won't Fit Well In The Clubhouse'

First off, you can't blame Ben Davis for this hot take based on "Vibe". As someone who also suffers from Rectangular Noggin' Syndrome, it's difficult to think straight with a literal block on your shoulders.

The hardest literal LinkedIn profile pic on the entire database

Secondly, this take shits. Wet. An upper decker on every level. You think Juan Soto is going to have a problem goosing with a championship caliber team that already has 3 of his star ex-teammates (Harper, Trea, Schwarbs) waiting for him? Just look at these vibes he posted about MVP Bryce Harper. LOOK AT THEM:

Settle down, man. And I don't mind Ben Davis, but man oh man I didn't go to the public school in Malvern to have alumni from Malvern Prep throw this shat against the wall. Extremely unnecessary shots fired at James Harden, too. Let the man make a zillion dollars to request trades and disappear during the playoffs in peace.

As for a potential Juan Soto to the Phillies trade…

Hey, I like Andrew Painter and all the other top prospects in the Phillies organization. You know what I like more than unproven talent? Proven megastar talent. You gotta take a chance on trading away the uncertainty for something that can put you over the top. Remember when Ed Wade would classify every single solid young prospect as "Untouchable" and never made the playoffs as GM? Of course you don't. But I can recall the days in which a meh pitcher like Adam Eaton would be held for organs. Nope.

You let go of a Kyle Drabek for Roy Halladay.

You let go of a Sixto Sanchez for JT Realmuto.

You let go of a Andrew Painter package for Juan Soto.

Now let's go out and win a 5th straight tonight and another pennant. Ring that damn bell and God Save Kyle Scwarber (dingers in 4 straight, too).

PS - Add in Darick Hall to whatever deal is made. Enough is enough. Seems like a good dude, but routinely catching and occasionally hitting a baseball are pretty big parts to of the game of baseball.
