Oppenheimer Being A Potential Communist Spy Better Be Part Of The Story Told By Christopher Nolan

The more I learn about Oppenheimer the more I am confident in saying he is one of the most important people ever to live on the planet. A person who genuinely changed the world forever, and it's debatable whether or not that was good or a bad thing at this point (and probably always will be debatable). The opening scene of the extended trailer looks like it touches on the fact that the driving force behind the Americans getting the atomic bomb to end WWII abruptly may have also been the driving force to get the Soviets the bomb as well.

Oppenheimer did have his top secret security clearance taken away in 1953, but didn't do any jail time for espionage like his Los Alamos partner Klaus Fuchs did. Both Fuchs and Oppenheimer were openly communists before the Manhattan Project. Under questioning Oppenheimer said that he as a "fellow traveler", but not an actual member of the communist party. If Fuchs and Oppenheimer did help the Soviets get the bomb as is widely believed then those two men shaped foreign policy and conflict for the entire world for the 20th century and beyond. I need a FULL length, 10 part, Oliver Stone investigation of this part of the story because I feel like it will only be touched on, but may in a way be more significant than the nuclear bomb itself.

Ed and I get into the entire story including the Merkulov Letters and Fuchs statements.
