Colorblind Guy Sees The Colors Of A Sunset For The First Time And Bursts Into Tears

I gotta be honest, I feel like that’s one of the few times an adult has genuinely enjoyed staring at a sunset.  Almost every other time a fully grown human being stands in awe of a sunset or talks about how beautiful a sunset is they’re at least partially lying.  They have to be.  Because sunsets just aren’t that cool looking once you’ve seen the same thing a million times in your life.  It literally happens every day.  There has to be a law of diminishing returns when it comes to sunsets.  It’s like a lie that’s been passed down from generation to generation and people just go with it at this point.  People think you’re weird if you don’t say, “Oh wow.  That’s so beautiful. Wow.”  For that colorblind guy seeing it for the first time though?  That’s genuine.  You can tell.  The dude is FLOORED by the sight and how the colors look.  So floored that it brings him to tears and it makes sense.  I bet when you were a small child and you saw your first sunset your teeny tiny brain almost melted and came out of your ears.  It’s an incredible thing if you’ve never witnessed it before but the magic goes away. Even the guy in the video says, “It’s not as crazy. I’m getting used to it” when two minutes before he was weeping. That tells you everything about sunsets.
