DeAndre Hopkins Wasted No Time Dunking On Patriots Fans Who Are Clowning Him For Not Signing With New England

Gotta love his move from DeAndre Hopkins going right after a Twitter troll for trying to clown him. You see this all the time in sports. A fan will tweet and tweet and tweet and tweet how much they want a player to sign with their team, that player doesn't sign with their team, said fan tweets how they never wanted them in the first place and then the fan goes on to say that their tweet was just being sarcastic when it clearly wasn't. That is what we had here. @BabzOnTheMic had some things to say when Hopkins decided to not sign with New England because who in their right mind would want to play with the immortal Mac Jones? Hopkins ended up catching wind of the tweet and decided to go right for his neck.

Hopkins nailed it. Fans are obsessed with these guys and then the second the player doesn't sign with them they're trash, their career is over, they wish injuries on them, and say they never wanted them in the first place. Of course Babz comes back with "it was sarcasm!" which I don't believe for a second. This guy spent months tweeting about wanting Hopkins and then the day he signs with another team he says his tweet trashing him is a joke. Yeah, makes sense. He obviously didn't think Hopkins would ever see it and got shook when he got the notification that Hopkins quote tweeted him.

Hopkins of course went back and deleted it and even sent the guy a DM apologizing, big of Hop. But I love the fiery attitude from him. Don't let these Twitter trolls win and try to get one over on you, put them in their place.
