Tom Holland Absolutely Hates Being A Celebrity

Tom Holland absolutely HATES Hollywood and everything that comes with it. Spider-Man just wants to go work on his carpentry and improve his short game on the links and not have to worry about all of the extra attention. Everybody leave Spidey alone!

I'm sure a lot of the assholes reading this may jump to the: "BOO-HOO SPIDEY IS TOO FAMOUS WAAAAHHHHH" take right away, clowning Holland for his "champagne problems" here, but I actually thought that it was pretty interesting to hear an ultra-famous celebrity open up about his dislike of that world so much. I believe him too, because whenever he's not promoting a movie/show, we don't hear a peep outta him!

I think fame is even different for someone like Tom Holland, where you have a responsibility to uphold a nice squeaky clean reputation for children who view you as their hero.

It doesn't matter if you're having a horrible day, you can't tell an overzealous kid to fuck off - EVER. You gotta throw on a smile and do the web-shooting hands for a picture; and it's not just kids, either! EVERYONE knows and loves Spider-Man. Everyone and their mother saw Endgame. Everyone wants a piece of Spider-Man.

On top of that, Holland is dating one of the more famous actresses in the world….

….so I doubt he could walk down the street ANYWHERE without getting mobbed at this point. Any sense of normalcy shot out the window when he was introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe at 19 years old - and now he's 27.

It sounds like he almost lost his twenties to fame and making the movies is the only part of his career he now enjoys. It's definitely a shame, and a bit sad to hear from one of my favorite actors, but then again - we're talking about Tom Holland….Spider-Man….and he's dating Zendaya….his MJ….so don't feel too bad. He'll be alright.
