This Charlotte FC Announcer Who Sounds Like Mickey Mouse Is The True Big Game Voice American Soccer Needs

I wanted to hate this, I really did. Announcer out here sounding like Mickey Mouse after a call, but here I am wanting to hear more of him. It's perfect for Charlotte FC. They aren't even good, but when you have an announcer sounding like this it inspires hope into fans. Sure, FC Cincinnati came back from a 2-0 spot to tie the match, but hey, they have this call. That's something that always brings you back because it's the hope. 

Announcers all need their thing. We get the Gus sounds during crazy college basketball games. We get Raft with onions and all his calls. We had Dickie V with his sayings. Jim Nantz, Kevin Harlan, Ian Eagle all have that big game voice. But now we have the Mickey Mouse guy. I like the guys who call US soccer matches, but we need this fella there now. Disney World is a shit show no matter when you go, so bring it to the International stage. I want to see what he sounds like calling other sports too. Shit, we had Gus call soccer matches back in the day on FOX, let this guy call a mid-major basketball game or something. 

Now, I don't care to see all the jokes on Twitter about Mickey Mouse League and this guy. Not when FC Cincinnati is hot. Not when Messi is coming. Yeah, it ain't Europe, but it's also not that bad of a league anymore! I promise it's not that bad. But this is about the announcer. This is about his Mickey Mouse voice being the breakout star over the weekend. Give him a shot with something better than Charlotte FC.
