Aaron Jones Is One Step Closer To Winning The Big Game, Advances To The Cornhole World Championships

When Aaron Jones was drafted to the Packers, he probably had dreams of winning The Big Game. A chance to play for a storied franchise with one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game. Constantly in the hunt to win that one game that would cement his name in the history books forever.

It's taken a little while to get himself there. Probably longer than expected, if we're being honest. But after 6 seasons in the league, Aaron Jones finally has a chance to play for a World Championship.

After winning a qualifier tournament this past weekend, Aaron Jones and his partner Yetty Irwan have punched their tickets to the Cornhole World Championships on August 4th in Rock Hill, SC. He's now just 3 quick wins away from becoming a world champion, as there are 8 teams that qualified for the event. And I'll tell ya what--his partner is an absolute menace out there on the boards.

She also won the women's singles tournament with a casual airmail drag to close out the finals. That's one sick puppy right there.

You might think you're good at cornhole. You might toss a decent amount of bags throughout the summer. Maybe you play at the beach every weekend, maybe you even play in a league at one of your local bars. You've probably tossed a 4-bagger or two at some point throughout your days. But these folks are on a different planet when it comes to cornhole. If you miss the board once, that's pretty much game over. These are filthy bastards out there. Assassins with a bag of corn feed in their hands.

I'd say that professional cornhole players are better and more dominant at their sport than NFL players are at football. Even if you suck at football, you could still be a kicker. There are no kickers in cornhole. You're either insane at the game, or you're just playing with your buddies in the backyard instead of on the big stage. If Aaron Jones wins a Cornhole World Championships, it would make playing in the Super Bowl look like any ordinary 1pm kickoff in the middle of October.
