It Just Doesn't End: Morgan Wallen Was Struck By A Cowboy Boot Somebody Threw At Him While He Was On Stage In St. Louis

Another day, and another story about some rude, self-centered asshole hitting a performer on stage with an object.

In this case, it was a sparkly cowboy boot. And the performer was Morgan Wallen.

Wallen gets a lot of heat but I applaud his composure. No joke. And this wasn't the first time.

A few months ago he got hit with a beer from some asshole in Australia.

(Unsure if it was a Foster's or not).

But Wallen didn't lose it. Didn't hop down in the crowd and beat ass. He made the moron fess up to it and then had his entire group kicked out. Ensuring said moron's friends beat his ass once outside.

Last night, someone out there thought it was a brilliant idea to launch their precious boot directly at Morgan's chest while he was innocently trying to please his fans.

Naturally, Morgan wasn't exactly thrilled about this unexpected boot-to-chest experience. Can you blame him? So, after he finished signing a hat for a poor, innocent fan, he took matters into his own hands and launched that thing into orbit, ensuring the idiot that threw it would be going home in one boot.

I think now is a good time for us all take a moment to reflect on the absurdity of the world we live in. From phone projectiles to airborne bracelets, and now cowboy boot catapulting, it seems like this trend of narcisim and "I need I need I need" isn't slowing down.

I wrote a blog earlier this week that didn't get published because Mush wrote another version that got posted before mine. It involved the situation with Adele over the holiday where she spoke loud and clear to these fucking morons, and straight up dared somebody to throw something at her one stage because "SHE WILL FUCKING KILL THEM". (Her words, not mine)

E News - When it comes to throwing things onstage, Adele wants fans to find another way to make her feel their love.

The "Easy On Me" singer took a moment during one of her Las Vegas residency concerts to colorfully comment on the recent trend of concertgoers throwing objects towards artists in the middle of their concerts.

"Have you noticed how people are like forgetting f--king show etiquette at the moment?" she said in a video shared to Twitter. "People just throwing s--t onstage. Have you seen them?"

Making it clear how she'd react if this were to happen at one of her shows, the 35-year-old joked, "I f--king dare you. Dare you to throw something at me and I'll f--king kill you."

The commentary happened just as Adele was firing a t-shirt into the audience—an irony she was sure to address. "'Stop throwing things at the artist, but you can shoot things into people,'" she continued with a laugh. "It's a total reverse."

"I've seen these people," she added, walking her t-shirt cannon offstage. "These people have lost it."

In just the last couple of weeks, both Bebe Rexha and Kelsea Ballerini were hit in the middle of their shows when fans threw objects onstage. Bebe suffered a black eye when a phone struck her in the face, while Kelsea was hit in the eye by a bracelet. And in an even stranger instance, a fan threw their mother's ashes onstage during Pink's performance at the British Summer Time Festival two weeks ago.

I blogged about the Kelsea Ballerini incident and argued that all the pieces of shit who do this should be executed.

Pretty much everybody agreed, that if you're an entitled little twat to the point that you go to a concert or performance with thousands of other people there, and feel you deserve something special, in the form of a selfie, or just making the moment about yourself to the point you ruin everybody else's experience, yes, you deserve to die.

Like my man Sam Jackson said -

Well now it looks like the Queen of Queens, the best living voice on Earth at the moment, and somebody pretty much everybody in the world respects, none other than Adele, agrees with us!

And she wants to do the dirty work herself!

I feel like we have no other choice but to let her where the hood and flip the switch. Unless she wants to go for something more medieval like straight-up beheadings in the village square? Ned Stark style.

If a performer can't feel safe on a stage in front of thousands of people who paid a months salary to see them, for fear of being struck by something, then where can they?

The only way to correct this misbehavior is  ̶p̶a̶r̶e̶n̶t̶s̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶a̶c̶t̶u̶a̶l̶l̶y̶ ̶s̶t̶a̶r̶t̶ ̶r̶a̶i̶s̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶i̶r̶ ̶k̶i̶d̶s̶ ̶w̶i̶t̶h̶ ̶m̶a̶n̶n̶e̶r̶s̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶r̶e̶s̶p̶e̶c̶t̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶o̶t̶h̶e̶r̶s̶ to swing things the other way and instill fear.

I remember a story for like 10-15 years ago about Liam Gallagher being hit in the head by a shoe while on stage performing with Oasis.

Speaking to Dermot O'Leary on 'BBC Reel Stories', Noel recalled: "I remember one gig when somebody hit Liam in the head with a shoe. Liam had the shoe, and I remember we’d come off stage, just waiting at the front door for this guy to walk past with one shoe.

"We were going to annihilate him."

The 56-year-old rocker insists that he was forever getting black eyes or nose injuries from being pelted onstage and often wore sunglasses to protect himself.

He recalled: "Nearly every gig that we did ended in a fight or a brawl in the crowd. I wore sunglasses for about six months and it was always because I had a black eye or a busted nose."

One time, he hit a fan with a guitar after they turned on him.

Noel shared: "There was one particular night in Newcastle - it was being broadcast live on the radio - where somebody got on stage and attacked me. I hit him with a guitar."

Stand up for yourselves artists and put these assholes in their place. Props to Adele! And props to Wallen for maintaining his calm, and chucking that boot to a security pit where it could be disposed of, ensuring the "fan" who threw it at him never got it back.

This trend needs to end.

p.s. - really no surprise this happened at Busch Stadium, home to "the best fans in baseball" is it? What a shit show last night was there. The cowboy boot thrown from the grassy knoll was the tip of the iceberg.

Wallen's opener, and friend of the program Ernest was performing and took a spill thanks to shoddy production.

As he was concluding his set, he stumbled over the stage production, resulting in a tumble. The incident occurred while he was distributing roses to the audience after performing his song “Flower Shops.”

Ernest made light of the entire thing by posting video of the fall off stage on his Instagram with the hashtag #athlete

Before that, an attendant working to park cars in a downtown lot was held at gunpoint and robbed

Clean it up St. Louis.
