MLB Revealed This Year's All-Star Jerseys And Unlike Most Of The City Connect Uniforms They Are SICK!

I don't even want to hear any slander from the olds about these. Save your bitching about wanting uniforms to be traditional. Baseball is evolving. Celebrations, personalities, rule changes, and you can change too or be left in the dust.

In my opinion Nike knocked these out of the park. They added just enough nods to the Seattle Mariners with the colors and the MLB logo inside the Mariners' star replacing the "A". They have an almost water effect going on with the colors which is super unique but not too gaudy. I think they bring some younger vibes without going too far off the reservation and upsetting your uncle Bob.

Lord knows he's already pissed enough about the Indians changing their name to the Guardians even though he roots for the Mets.

And if you are going to bitch about these I want you to remember what the uniforms looked like just a few short years ago.

I mean those were horrendous. It looks like someone two weeks into graphic design school couldn't figure out how to change the text tool back from vertical to horizontal and just submitted them anyway so they would get partial credit.

I would actually wear this year's jersey even though I'm not much of a jersey guy. And I'm a sucker for stuff inside the collar like they have the "ASG 23" on these. The beauty is always in the details.

Great job Nike. Way to save face after the rollout of all those awful MLB City Connect uniforms. For the most part those things were absolute trash.
