The "Best Fans In Baseball" Have Officially Bullied Adam Wainwright Off Twitter After His Rough Start

Nothing like the "best fans in baseball" shitting all over their potential future Hall Of Fame pitcher forcing him to delete his Twitter account! Let's give the Cards fans a round of applause! 

This is pretty crazy, the Cardinals have their first truly awful season in a while and what do they do? Turn on their own. Adam Wainwright is going to spend his entire career with the Cardinals, win more than 200 games for them, likely have an ERA under 3.50 for his career and how do the Cards fans react to his and the teams bad year? By ruthlessly attacking him after his bad start in London over the weekend. 

Is Wainwright the reason for the Cardinals being one of the worst teams in baseball? Certainly not. But for some reason the London start was what put fans over the edge and they just went at him. He isn't having a great year at all, but still….That is your GUY. He is a Cards legend. Absolute LOSER behavior from this fanbase. The guy helped bring a championship to St. Louis in 2006 and this is how they treat a legend? He didn't have to come back this season, but he wanted to finish in St. Louis, and again he is getting treated like dirt from these crumb bum fans.

Wainwright's 41 so he's no spring chicken, but the fact that he's still being shit on after spending 18 years in a Cards uniform is insane to me. I'm sure a social media break will be good for Waino, who was a great follow and interacted with fans on twitter before the London game. It's just crazy that it had to come to this. Again, the guy has given his all to this franchise for over 20 years and in likely his last year they are kicking the hell out of him when he is down. I get it's not all Cards fans, it's just a select few, but man is it a bad look for the "best fans in baseball".
