This Insane Wheel Kick KO Has To Be The Knockout Of The Year

This past weekend, JackMac and I went down to Atlanta for the final fights of the 2023 PFL regular season, and we witnessed what has to be the knockout of the year from "The Swedish Denzel" Sadibou Sy; a walk-off wheel kick that sent his opponent flying into a new stratosphere. 

Sure, there's been more meaningful knockouts this year, or simply KOs with larger stakes (Izzy exacting his revenge of Pereira comes to mind immediately) but as far as pure flashiness goes - I don't think you're beating this. Dude made his opponent crumble like an unmanned marionette puppet. 

Sadibou was setting this finish up the whole fight, throwing spinning kicks to the body so that Shane Mitchell would bite low on a high wheel kick, and he did just that in the third round! Sy had already clinched a playoff spot, as well, so he could've just coasted his way to an easy victory here, but no...he wanted to add to the highlight reel. You gotta love that. 

Sy won the million dollars last year, and with performances like this, I don't see how he won't lock it up again this year.

Speaking of 2022 champs that I think will repeat this year - Olivier Aubin-Mercier also picked up a tremendous finish in the card's main event....

.... and I believe The Canadian Gangster is here to stay as Champ.

P.S. Dwight Howard was sitting next to us all night. Wild trio that is, huh? Dwight Howard, JackMac, and Robbie Fox. He was cool and fist bumped us on the way out, tho, so we're basically former teammates at this point.
