#HealthyDebate: Who’s At Fault In This Situation?

Need some help here. I had a cleaning lady come by yesterday. It’s not an every week occurrence but sometimes the house gets out of control and you’ll be gone all day so I splurge for a little help and come back to a house that looks brand new. I do it once every two months and it really makes a difference. 

Anyway, this has now happened three times over the last 6-7 months when we use this service. They are great, they really are. Kind, hard working etc. The house always looks great, but there's been one major problem each time, and I need it to be solved as to who's fault this is:

Each time after they are done I have gone to go in the shower and each time I turn on the water about a half second later I scream "Motherfucker, Shit , Son Of A Bitch …NOT AGAIN." See each time, when this service is done cleaning for whatever reason they decide to point the shower head directly to where I walk into the shower. It not only soaks me, it soaks the sink and the floor. It's the worst. Today I think I even yelled "I WANT THEM FIRED." 

When I explained this to my wife, she has suggested that it is on me to look at the shower head before turning on the water. Now mind you, this only happens when they clean here. So by her math it's on me to change everything I have ever done for 36 years of just getting in the shower and trusting that someone isn't pointing a shower head at me, and remember they were here and to look first. 

I have never ever looked before I got in a shower. There could be a shark on the other end of the tub I wouldn't know til I fully ripped open the curtain. I peel it back enough to reach my hand in and turn on the water and then start getting undressed. I also think I am like 99.99 % of people who do not look at the shower head before getting in. I am so confident I am in the right here that i cannot wait for the poll results. However, you know the internet has wackos with wacky opinions and someone is going to spin this in the cleaning services favor. It's a chance I'm willing to take. I know i am right.
