The Drone Footage Of London Stadium Ahead Of This Weekend's Overseas Cubs-Cardinals Series Looks So Damn Cool
I'm a sucker for a drone shot, especially in situations like this. We got a tour of London Stadium where the Cardinals and Cubs will play this weekend and it looks dope. Awesome locker rooms with clubhouses that are separated with just a little wall that could make things interesting when one team wins and the losers can hear the shit talking from the other room. It also looks so real that....it doesn't look real. Like the locker room scenes could be a CGI animation. I don't know what is real or fake anymore.
Then we get the super speed shot out of the tunnel onto the field and you realize how cool the ballpark looks. The field itself looks MASSIVE. It can't be easy to set up a one-time ball field in a stadium not made for it but you would never know.
Man do I love me a good drone shot. Wonder if it was the same guy who did the Barstool Office shot.
As cool as the drone shot is, it doesn't really do the field justice. Just an awesome looking place to play ball.
Of course the timelapse looks awesome too because timelapses will never not be cool. The drone shot got me pretty pumped for this weekend series, excited to see how the ball flies in this park. Wonder if it'll play small like it did a few years ago when it was Sox - Yankees and it was a home run derby. Going to be a cool weekend in London for the Cubs and Cards.
