Andre 3000 Is Back With A FIRE Verse On Killer Mike's New Track "Scientists & Engineers"

Good Lord man... I feel like we forget how fucking slick Andre 3000 the rapper is.

The juxtaposition of having him bat leadoff on this, followed by Future (who I think is fucking terrible 90% of the time) just makes me yearn for him even more.

Why does he have to refuse to give us another Outkast album? Why can't he even just do a solo album for us? He's still got his fastball. He destroyed that unreleased track from Donda last year. Now this?

On Tuesday (June 13), Killer Mike unleashed “Scientists & Engineers,” a star-studded collaboration featuring contributions from Grammy-winner André 3000, Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper Future and Chicago R&B savant Eryn Allen Kane. With acclaimed producers such as James Blake and No I.D. in the credits, the song’s production provides a meditative soundscape for each rapper to spit over.

Also, what a dick tease this is for the Dungeon Family fanatics like myself. Lining up a quasi-reunion like this between Andre, Killer Mike, and Future to get us all rock hard and then have Sleepy Brown go out of his way to tell TMZ "no way no how" in terms of a hopefully Outkast reunion just sucks balls.

Sleepy said that an OutKast reunion is out of the question after the reporter picked his brain about Speakerboxxx/The Love Below turning 20 this year.

“Nah, they not,” Sleepy Brown said. “[André 3000] is on a while nother journey and he’s, you know, doing something. But me and Big [Boi] are still doing tours and stuff like that.

“Don’t hold your breath for no OutKast reunion. Don’t do it to yourself. It’s not gon’ happen, folks. If you wanna see us, we gon’ be Dungeon Family. That’s about it.”

Whyyyyyyy? Just give us one more collab album fellas. Please! The world needs it so bad right now.

Killer Mike's new album Michael drops in its entirety this Friday, June 16. Features on Killer Mike’s new record include Ty Dolla $ign, Blxst, 2 Chainz, Jagged Edge, 6LACK, CeeLo Green and El-P.
