Oakland A's Fans Are Holding A Reverse Boycott Game Tonight Where They Pack The Stadium And Show That They're Not The Problem
Now this is what fandom is about. We have more of a voice than people think. Oakland A's fans should be doing this and I love every second of it.
This is a great way to show ownership and the whole league that the fans aren't the problem. When money was put into the Oakland A's and they weren't intentionally tanking, the fans were there to support in droves. It'll be hilarious to see them tonight going nuts and the timing of this winning streak couldn't be happening at a better time.
I would much rather be the A's than a middle of the road team because it makes the current six game winning streak they're on all the more fun. They know they're dog shit, but here they are sweeping the Brewers and even taking down the world-beater Rays last night. Baseball is so unpredictable and it's showing right here.
I just think these fans should do whatever they can to fuck with the owners. One day pack that shit out and the next don't have a single person show up like we're back in the strict covid days. As a Yankees fan I am almost jealous of the A's because they have no stress. It's hard being a fan of a team where it's championship or bust every year and more likely than not you get disappointed.
