A Barricade Just Collapsed At UFC 289 And TONS Of People Went Down (Everyone Is Okay)

Well that looked pretty horrifying! Humans just went flying there! Some people falling down into the tunnel, others jumping down, barricades breaking and swinging down - I think somebody even got flattened cartoon-style underneath it all! 

Honestly, Mike Malott is lucky HE wasn't flattened! I don't even know if he realized this happened! He was unfazed!

Jon Anik was able to confirm on the broadcast just minutes later that nobody was hurt here, thankfully, but how wild is that clip? Mike Malott made Vancouver go full on Beatlemania for him!

I don't know if that's ever happened on a UFC show. It happened in the WWF before for Shawn Michaels….

….but that obviously wasn't from an elevated position. This coulda been a LOT worse than it was.

Malott - one of Canada's best prospects - went out there and put on a hell of a performance and tapped Adam Fugitt out in the second round to keep his 100% finish rate in tact AND advance Canadian fighters to 6-0 tonight. 

He then gave an all time promo for Canada afterwards….

Is Canadian MMA back? Some are saying between the Canadian Gangster winning the PFL Lightweight Championship last year and tonight, Canadian MMA is back.

P.S. Walking out to 'Fat Lip' which features the lyric "We laugh when old people fall!" as a bunch of people fall is kinda funny. Now that we know everyone's okay, we can laugh at that, right?
