The Altitude Is Such A Problem In Denver That Charles Barkley Needs An Oxygen Mask Already

There is a reason that the Nuggets are so good at home and it's because they are used to the air. You know, the thing you need to breathe to survive. It's different than anywhere else in the country and they know how to handle it.

Charles is just talking not doing anything else and the man is in shambles. The altitude is always talked about but I don't think people realize how much it really fucks with you. I golfed in Denver once and I truly thought my lungs were going to collapse. I hit a shitty shot once obviously and I ran after so I wasn't holding up the group and I felt like I was going to die right there. I understand these are the best athletes in the world but when you aren't used to altitude in everyday life you're done for.

I can also see Chuck being fucking miserable going to Denver. Just being like why the fuck are we here when there was the chance of LA and Miami where he would thrive much more. If I need some oxygen to just talk I would be upset as well.
