LSU Football Just Gave Their Players Helmets With Air Conditioning In Them

After seeing this, I think may have to bet LSU to win the National Championship. I remember interviewing Cade Cunningham, who was the #1 overall pick in the NBA Draft and also an unbelievable quarterback growing up. So I asked him why he chose basketball and his answer was simply because it has air conditioning. Wearing a helmet and pads must be brutal when you are running at full speed and getting hit in 80+ degree weather. You are sweating nonstop. But if I got smoked over the middle and had a little air conditioning in my face, I would feel a lot better. 

Air conditioning is one of the best inventions to ever be created. I think we would all be a lot more sad if we didn't have AC and for it to be in a helmet makes me happy for these guys. A little cold air brings so much more joy to a man than it really should.

Now I do wonder if there is any malfunctions when there is a helmet to helmet hit and I am also guessing there cant be any heated helmets because that might cause a fire or some shit, right? I also have to wonder if there is a noise constantly humming in the helmet. Because if a coach is trying to say something and you can't hear him because of the AC motor, you could lose a game or get cut. But I think the positives outweight the negatives, especially when you are playing early season games in September when that southern sun can really get cooking.
