I'm Not An American Idol Fan But Iam Tongi Is A Bonafide Star

I'm far from an American Idol fan. I think I dipped out after the famous William Hung clip. It's too long for me, I can't get invested in the stories, nor to be honest can I tell who is a good singer from who is a great singer. It just doesn't fit my interests.. not for me. However, every once in a while a clip will catch my eye and make me appreciate just how good some of these people are, and more so how fluky it is, or just how lucky singers and actors have to be to be seen at the right time or in the right place. Hollywood is littered with terrific singers and actors who just never got seen in the right place, or right time. It's a wild business. It's just as much having the chops to deliver the goods, but also getting the luck you need to be seen.

This clip of this kid stopped me dead in my tracks. What a voice. What a star. I will immediately be adding to my Spotify. Maybe it's that I just never expected such a young kid to be such a star, and own a room like the way Iam Tongi does, or maybe it's how emotional he makes Joe Rogan, Jellyroll and Lionel Richie get when he sings, especially about his father but holy hell am I sold on this kid. I mean all in. What a star.

Good luck keeping a dry eye while listening to him.
