The Oakland A's Cannot Be Serious Making Their Ushers Bother The Few Fans That Actually Show Up To Games Because Of Where They Sit An Hour Before First Pitch
I'm all for people respecting their jobs, working hard, and making sure they keep up with protocols etc. I also know that people have to take 2nd and 3rd jobs out there to make ends meet, so the last thing you will find me doing is shaming people working an honest job. In fact the ushers here are simply just pawns or puppets. They are being told what to do, and are being forced to have awkward conversations that make them look really silly.
Look around that stadium, there's 12 people in the damn place. TWELVE!!! Anyone who comes to these games should be given a parade and a free car wash. Yet here's the Oakland A's brass is passing down messages to tell the ushers to make sure fans aren't going to areas where they don't have seats.
How does this make any sense? Why is this organization who has done everything, and I mean everything wrong (from moving the team in the middle of the night to leaning on MLB to remove sell the team signs, to being on pace to win like 35 games) forcing part time employees to enforce asinine rules that make zero sense. Let the fans who actually come lay down in the aisles for god sakes! WHO CARES! There's literally no one in the joint. What difference does it make?!?
Moronic behavior from The A's organization, or director of security, or stadium safety …whatever. They should be embarrassed how they not only treat the fans, but treat their employees. What a joke. And to think this team during the Covid year was a legit World Series contender … insane.
