"What's Beef?" It's When The Two Whitest Rappers Ever, Jack Harlow and MGK Are Fighting Over Who's The Best Since Eminem

(Hit play on this above while reading for dramatic effect)

This all started when Jack Harlow dropped his new album, Jackman, and new song, "They Don't Love It" off it, a couple weeks ago.

NME - Jack Harlow has declared himself to be the “hardest white boy” in rap since Eminem, making the bold claim in a bar on his new song ‘They Don’t Love It’.

Referencing an iconic line in Eminem’s 2002 song ‘Lose Yourself’, Harlow raps on the first verse of his new cut: “Ya boy’s strivin’ to be the most dominant ever / The hardest white boy since the one who rapped about vomit and sweaters / And hold the comments ‘cause I promise you I’m honestly better than whoever came to your head right then.”

That got a lot of music media people buzzing, like it was designed to do,

Including Machine Gun Kelly...

Billboard - Machine Gun Kelly appears to be taking a verbal swing at Jack Harlow in a new freestyle.

On Saturday (May 6), the 33-year-old pop-punk star dropped a fiery two-and-a-half-minute rap, titled “Renegade Freestyle.” Set to the instrumental of Jay-Z and Eminem‘s 2001 collaboration “Renegade,” MKG seemingly takes aim at Harlow, 25, who recently dropped his third album, Jackman.

“I see why they call you Jackman/ You jacked man’s whole swag, give Drake his flow back, man,” Kelly raps at the 1:22 mark of the freestyle. “I eat rappers like Pac Man/ Must I regurgitate and show you who’s in my stomach from the last dance?”

Now I know what you're thinking. And I'm not going to put it in writing because I am shallow and desperately want each of these guys to come on my show Barstool Backstage. They're both (quasi-friends) of the program, Jack Harlow still fucks with Barstool even after Caleb and Mantis couldn't get him the time of day from the shot callers here, and MGK has done Barstool parties, pizza reviews with Dave, and a ton for the city of Cleveland and he's a great guy in real life. Call me a kow towing, neutered bitch. I don't care. I'll wear it.

All of that said, I think what we're all waiting for here is for Marshall to drop in and obliterate both of these guys.

The fact anybody is mentioning their name in the same sentence as him shows blatant disrespect, as well as extreme short-term memory.

Do either of them have any clue the caliber or rapper Eminem actually is? How colossal a figure he was in not just music but pop culture for two decades?

This is like Tyga saying he's the best rapper since Notorious B.I.G. or Tupac.

Giphy Images.

One of those true respect your elders, check yourself before you wreck yourself moments I'm sure all parties will be heavily regretting in retrospect very soon.

When one of these guys drops something close to "Til I Collapse" or "Guilty Conscious" let me know.

p.s. - fun fact- "Renegade" was actually an Eminem and Royce Da 59 (Bad Meets Evil) song that Jay-Z bought for himself to put on Blueprint with Eminem.

p.p.s. - all things considered, much respect to Jack Harlow for his grind. He's come a very, very long way and deserves his success.
