NFL GM's Are Claiming 'This Is The Most Unpredictable Draft In Forever' Which Means Tonight Should Be An AWESOME Shit Show

I love seeing this. I want drafts to be unpredictable because it makes for awesome TV. I said it before but I'm a sucker for drafts. Always have been, always will be. There's nothing that sucks more from a viewership standpoint than when you know the first 4-5 picks and they just breeze through.

But tonight? I mean we're pretty sure Bryce Young is going No. 1 but after that? There's nothing we know. We don't know what the Texans are doing at 2. We have this story now coming out:

Yeah, give me the mayhem. I want trades that you have to remember who the hell is picking for who. I want guys to go in spots that no one predicted it. Reading through people's mock drafts and they basically admit the same. They don't know what the hell is happening.

That's one of the things I miss most from the old days. Yeah we had mocks. Yeah we had rumors. But we didn't have the constant updating on draft picks. We kind of guessed who teams were taking and just sat there waiting for a commissioner to come to the mic and announce it. There was something about that feeling when your team was on the clock and you just had to wait nervously for a few minutes until it was announced.

We also have people talking about how this draft kind of stinks. Good! We don't know how these guys will turn out. So I want mayhem. It's the second thing I cheer for outside of the Giants not fucking up. Give me people freaking out like a fantasy draft and your guy goes one pick before you. Give me trades all over the place. I want mayhem.
