Cody Bellinger Confirms That He Is A Walking Meme After Hitting A 420 Foot Home Run On 4/20

Do we think Cody Bollinger was pissed he had to work on his favorite holiday? Didn't matter to him as he blasted another home run to continue his surprising rebirth of a season. After coming over to the Cubs he's found his old self and is playing well. Hitting .290 with 4 homers, 13 RBI, and a .367 OBP. A nice start to the season for Bellinger who usually has no clue what planet he's on, at least that is what he looks like. So naturally Bellinger got a pitch to drive yesterday and didn't miss it.

Smoked this ball, I mean he really twisted it up and let loose. A whopping 420 foot homer, you just can't make this stuff up. It's magical when something like this happens, that is how you know there is a bigger power watching over. Again, he's had no shortage of moments that make it appear that he is blazed to the high heavens like here, here, and here. The number 420 just always seems to follow Cody around.

It's great to see him playing well again, especially against his old team. You know that had to feel good. I'm also kind of shocked he didn't wander into the Dodgers dugout at one point. I'd have guessed his brain was programed to flock to the Dodgers uniforms and considering the holiday I'm surprised he didn't pull that stunt. The Cubs may have lost his revenge game but Cody showed out on his day of all days. That ball def wasn't the only thing that was blasted.

I also like to imagine this ball was hit like 418 feet and the official tracking people are like "we know what we have to do." Round that bad boy up to 420 and lets call it a day.
