THE FOO FIGHTERS JUST DROPPED A NEW SINGLE

This is the first single the Foo Fighters have dropped since 2021 with their releases prior to their last album, Medicine at Midnight and after 3-4 listens, I REALLY dig it. 

I didn't personally enjoy Medicine At Midnight as much as vintage Foo Fighters' albums, but it sufficed as it was their first album release since 2017. We're on the heels of Taylor Hawkins' unfortunate passing and you just KNOW that the Foos are gonna go balls to the wall for this one though. 

I'm fucking pumped. The new album release is scheduled for early June this summer and it's titled, But Here We Are. Let's ride! 

On another note - a few weeks back on The Mid Show, Big Cat said nothing in the new Chicago office is being built out without me, your trusty White Sox blogger, in mind. I have this vision where we build out a decent recording studio and anytime a major act like the Foo Fighters come through Chicago they do a small 3ish song set to promote tours/singles/albums similar to late show appearances or Tiny Desk concerts. Then Dave Grohl does an interview on on PMT and of course, Barstool Backstage. 

Sounds awesome!! Wonder if that'll come true or not.
